Illinois Action for Children — Legislative Profiles

CLIENT: Illinois Action for Children, Research Department

PROJECT: IAFC provides community profiles that are snapshots of the early childhood education landscape in each of Illinois’ legislative districts. To communicate the district-specific data, Lange Creative Services worked with an Excel file from IAFC’s Research Department to create a data-merged InDesign document. The 195 pages comprise Illinois’ 59 Senate districts, 118 House districts, 17 Congressional districts as well as a statewide profile. The legislative profiles are accessible to the public on Illinois Action for Children’s website.

The 195 pages share the same design, but each page contains data specific to each legislator’s district. Please click on the animated sample below to see 30 of the district profiles. Please note how the data changes while the design remains static.
